Guy H. Campbell A.K.A. Guy Harrison is a junior at Syracuse University studying Advertising in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, the #1 communications school in the country. But what sets Guy apart from his peers is not just his strong academics but instead his incredible hip hop talent. He is still fairly new to rapping and has wasted no time making a name for himself throughout the country. Guy comes from the Philadelphia suburbs across the bridge in South Jersey. He has released three solo mixtapes including “Freshman Orientation,” prior to beginning college, “The Deadline” and his latest tape “Train of Thought” He also released two mixtapes with his Hip Hop group Backhand Fam which includes himself, the very smooth and talented rapper Cartier Sims (@cartiersims) and undoubtedly one of the top beat makers/producers in college period, Matt Migliorelli (@mattMIGGZ).
Guy Harrison remains dedicated to his craft but is also very focused in the classroom. He is living proof that you can live your non-academic related dreams while still striving to get a degree. He has opened for numerous established artists including Mac Miller, Aer, Chris Webbie, Asher Roth and many others. Guy has a long and successful career ahead of him. His drive and motivation to be the best has everyone around him talking. Stay on the lookout for Guy Harrison’s music as it shouldn’t be long before we are hearing his name everywhere.
